A three-day camping experience is specially planned for fathers and sons (grandfathers and grandsons) to grow. Fathers ‘n’ Sons stay in a cabin together and meals are served in the dining hall. The program begins with registration Sunday afternoon and ends at 10:00 AM Wednesday morning. This is a special time for fathers and sons to play games, hike, study the Bible and do much more together among God's beautiful creation.
Camp Age by Grade Completed: 2-5 (Martial Arts 1), 6-9 (Martial Arts 2)
These specialized camps presented by Christian instructors, introduce campers to the basics of martial, self defense, and challenges campers to grow in their skills. Campers learn that the disciplines of the martial arts have significant carry-over value into the Christian’s life and values. In addition to the martial arts emphasis, there is also time for all of the other fun and exciting camp activities.
Camps are designed to meet the needs of the mentally, developmentally, and/ or physically challenged camper. Appropriate growth activities, recreation, and Bible studies are planned with campers’ needs taken into consideration. (The registration process for Lotsa Love involves two forms. The Pre-Registration form helps us determine whether or not we are able to meet the camper’s needs and if the camper can handle the program. To participate in this experience, campers must be able to communicate their basic needs, be toilet-trained, and be ambulatory. Once the camper is approved, the regular registration form can be completed. Note: Twin Pines is a youth focused camp, thus older campers may not be able to handle camp life.)
