Craft Retreat

A laid-back weekend allows you time away for relaxation as you work on craft projects and fellowship with friends new and old. Bible study will be presented in the context of sewing and sowing while you experience the beauty of God’s creation in the setting of the Pocono Mountains.

Bring whatever craft with which you wish to make progress. Times are flexible for you to get up as early as you want, or stay up as late as you want, to work on your craft. And there is now an extension option available to craft Thursday evening & all day Friday.

Thursday arrival option is available for you to work longer on your craft, Thursday evening and all day Friday. This DOES NOT include meals for the added time.

Saturday Only option is available as well. Please contact the office for more information.

A weekend for women to get together and focus on strengthening their relationship and discipleship of Jesus. You’ll not only have the chance to hear inspiring teaching from Jana Snyder but also enjoy:
• the great fall weather ~ go for a hike on one of the many trails
• relax ~ in the snack shop, in your room, on a bench, etc.
• build your faith ~ discuss spiritual issues with other women

All while you put the busyness of life in proper focus.

Enjoy a special ‘Women’s Dinner.’

About the Speaker: Jana Snyder has been speaking to Women’s Groups and Teenagers for over 25 years.  She has a passion for sharing the Hope and the Joy that comes from knowing Jesus and living a life fully committed to Him.  She has been blessed to be able to travel all over the world sharing the Gospel and working with teens, women, and families.  Near and dear to Jana’s heart is her love for Camp ministries, where she has served as a counselor, program director, camp and retreat speaker, and consultant.  When she’s not at camp, you will find her teaching Health and PE at East Juniata High School, Working at their 50’s Diner Cruiser’s Cafe, or meeting with clients for Counseling.  In her spare time she loves to hide out in her garden (to avoid doing the dishes) and most importantly spending time with Husband and daughter. 

Weekend's Topic: Unexpected JOY
Life sometimes doesn’t go how we have it planned…. Sometimes we find ourselves in situations that were never on our list of life goals. And to be quite honest it isn’t always easy to find HOPE in what feels like a hopeless situation…. It surely isn’t easy to be joyful when we feel life isn’t fair and is falling apart right in front of our eyes. We ask the whys, we try our best to figure it out in our finite earthly minds… but yet we fall short as we can’t see the bigger picture of God’s perfect plan.

Over the course of this weekend we will be turning to God’s Word to study some famous followers who all found themselves in tough situations whether through circumstances or choices…. Just like us. We are excited to have you join us for this journey of Unexpected JOY!

Spring Spruce Up

May 4-6, 2021

(You don't have to attend all three days. Whatever time you can give to the ministry will be a help.)

Join other volunteers for a mid-week event to help the ministry “spruce-up” camp and prepare for summer ministry! Projects have included both indoor and outdoor sprucing-up. There are always tasks for volunteers of any skill level! You may choose to participate for all or part of the time.
