Teenagers often hear they are to be committed to Christ, yet what does that look like for a teenager? How can a teen be committed to Christ at school, work, extracurricular activities, family, etc.? After the weekend, your teens will be challenged in concrete ways to be Committed to Christ.

Speaker: Justin Watkins

     Justin has been married to his beautiful bride, Jenna (Twin Pines camper/counselor alum!) for 11 years. They met while studying youth ministry together at Messiah College. They share a passion for sharing God's heart of justice, healthy marriages and discipleship. They live in Willow Street, PA with their three energetic and sweet kids: Jansen (8), Jera (4) and Jaelynn (infant).

     Justin has served as a Youth Pastor, full-time houseparent at the Milton Hershey School, and a representative for HOPE International. He currently is the VP of Development for Men of Iron, a Christ-centered mentoring organization for men. He enjoys teaching God's Word, playing basketball, cheering on his Chicago Bears and getting to Sixer games with his family.

RiSE is a traveling music and worship team of Clarks Summit University. RiSE uses God-given passions and talents to serve others in every capacity they are able.

The name RiSE reflects many biblical truths including God’s praises rising from His people. The lower-case “i” is inspired by the words of John the Baptist in John 3:30 and is the foundation of the team’s purpose, “He (Jesus) must increase, but I must decrease.”
