Theme: Not Just Surviving, but Thriving in Marriage
Survive or Thrive? It is easy to become overwhelmed by the busyness of life, arriving at a point where the only conversations with your spouse become the necessities to get through the day. Are the bills paid? Can you pick up milk and eggs? Where are the kids? On this retreat, you will take a step back, together, to assess where you are in your marriage, and where you see God taking you as a couple. God desires your marriage to be more than a working partnership, and we want you to thrive instead of just survive in your marriage. Throughout the weekend there will be sessions led by Rev. Fred Jacoby of Foundations Christian Counseling, as well as time for reflection and reconnection. The beautiful backdrop of the Pocono Mountains provides an atmosphere to engage with your spouse and other couples to better understand how to thrive in a Christ-centered marriage.
